I wish we could have convinced the Devils to take Lucic and kept Maroon.

What is the total count on how many times Oilers fans have uttered 'I wish we could have' + taken back an Oilers organizational decision ?

Great article, agreed that Maroon would definitely have good synergy with Hall as he is definitely a similar skill archetype as McDavid.

Completely agree about the lines and Hynes matching. He needs work in that area. Also, I've been yelling at my TV to get Maroon on the top line with Hall....so I'm glad you heard me. LOL Let's hope Hynes gets the message

Not sure Maroon would be able to play his offwing regularly. But he got a lot of points by just driving to the net with McDavid so maybe he could do the same with Hall.

His only success in Anahiem was being the LW with Getzlaf and Perry. Otherwise he was a guy they were willing to eat 25% of his contract for multiple years to ship to Edmonton.

Should say a bit about him. And only had meh success in Edmonton because he was afforded the opportunity to ride on Connors wing.

Anaheim shipped him off and retained salary because at the time Maroon was spending more time lifting bottles to his mouth than lifting his arms in the air. He seems to have cleaned his act up.

Ya lets switch it up!!!! Hall really needs a change from the cold streak he is on. Maroon simply wins and helps balance lines that are just too fast.
